FoodStory.ca was created in Calgary by SAIT educators, in partnership with Alumni from Solid., to bring Culinary Students closer to the foods they use every day.

SAIT is situated on Treaty 7 territory. We acknowledge and give thanks to the traditional lands which have for millennia been home to the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and the Métis Nation (Region 3). Tragically, colonizers did not respect the lands and the people which have both shaped the ways we all live now.
